Portland, Maine Fire Department We here at the Portland, Maine Fire Department Marine Division would like to thank Safety Skid for the opportunity to use their non skid product on the aft cockpit deck of our 42 foot fiberglass rescue boat. Our local fiberglass repair vendor prepped the deck last October and then applied a gray tinted non skid. They were pleased with the application of the product. We have just gone through a very harsh winter with lots of ice and snow and at times had to apply ice melt to the deck.
